Jane Addams Hull House Tour - 11:00 AM Tuesday, 03 June 2008

Just a 1/2 mile walk from the UIC Forum, the Hull House was co-founded in 1889, by Jane Addams and Ellen Gates Starr. It was one of the first settlement houses in the U.S. and eventually grew into one of the largest. Because of the Hull House’s social, educational and artistic programs, it earned a reputation as the best-known settlement house in the U.S. and became the standard bearer for the movement that included almost 500 settlements nationally by 1920.

Join our guide for a private tour of the Hull House. This optional tour is complimentary, but numbers are limited, so please enroll if you'd like to attend.
