Man as ‘capital’ is comprised of various domains, from the economic developments to nation intergrity and prosperity. Human capital has to be polished, refined and tested before its potential can be fully utilized. Human capital development is strongly emphasized and a core agenda in the Islamic teaching. Al-Quran and al-Sunnah (Prophetic Traditions) stressing human capital is a holistic manner from physical, phychic as well as spiritual aspects of man emphasized in order to generate a dynamic an quality man. In order to achieve this noble objective this article will be focusing on Quranic and Prophetic Hadith perspective on human capital development.
