The purpose of this presentation is to take an in-depth look at how emerging technologies in electronic learning platforms are creating a diverse population of well-educated experts around the world. In this global economy, the U.S. has become an exporter of technology and innovation. Education has been moved to an international platform allowing greater access to best practices, proven theories and standard operating procedures. This increase in access to knowledge across geographical divides warrants thorough examination of potential challenges that may arise including but not limited to: security considerations, job competitiveness, socioeconomic differences and international relations.

Objectives include:
-Identifying current and future e-learning technologies
-Discussion of pros and cons of utilizing this platform as a learning tool
-Performing a comparative analysis surrounding application in higher education
-Disclosure of opportunities and threats on a global scale
