If you have booked accommodation at the James Stukel Towers (a newly constructed university living space on the campus of the University of Illinois Chicago), internet access must be purchased through Common Ground Publishing by May 14 (we apologize - there will be no exceptions). The cost is a flat fee of AU$35 for the duration of the conference (June 2nd-6th only).

Conference Dinner - Wednesday, 04 June 2008
The Conference Dinner will be held in the "Greek Town" section of Chicago at the Parthenon Restaurant. The Parthenon, symbolizing the birthplace of Western Civilization, is one of Greece's proudest achievements. The proprietors of the restaurant believe that naming it after this architectural wonder carries a deep responsibility for excellence; we will. They hope that in some small way their efforts will help you to know the pure enjoyment of the Greek eating experience.
The Parthenon is preparing a 5 course authentic Greek dinner for us to include wine.
The Parthenon is located approximately 1 mile from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Jane Addams Hull House Tours
Just a half-mile walk from the UIC Forum, the Hull House was co-founded in 1889, by Jane Addams and Ellen Gates Starr. It was one of the first settlement houses in the U.S. and eventually grew into one of the largest. Because of the Hull House’s social, educational and artistic programs, it earned a reputation as the best-known settlement house in the U.S. and became the standard bearer for the movement that included almost 500 settlements nationally by 1920.
Join our guide for a private tour of the Hull House. This optional tour is complimentary, but numbers are limited, so please enroll if you'd like to attend. Tours will be at 11a.m. each day of the conference. For additional information on Hull House, visit: http://www.uic.edu/jaddams/hull/
Jane Addams Hull House is 'JAH' in section T6 on the Campus Map.
